WHERE ARE THESE HOMES LOCATED?

• Four of the homes on this website are located at Edelweiss Mountain in the central Black Hills near Pactola Lake.  The Bears Den is located 1/2 mile past Edelweiss toward the Pactola Lake inlet of Bear Gulch.

• We are 3 miles off highway 385, a county maintained gravel/dirt road (Highway 385 connects Deadwood, Hill City, Custer.)

• We are centrally located, about 30 minutes to Rushmore, about 40 minutes the other way to Deadwood. 

• Renting a boat on Pactola is a five minute drive from any of these homes. 

• Either Centennial Hiking Trailheads or the Silver City to Mystic trailhead are a five minute drive. 

• We are twenty minutes away is Hill City.  Hill City has shops, galleries, dining, groceries, gas, the 1880 train, a coffee shop with WiFi, a winery, summer festivals every weekend, and bicycle rental for the Michelson Trail. 

When you make reservations your confirmation packet will include driving instructions to Edelweiss as well as a map of the Edelweiss development.
